Today, the Acer brand is known mainly for its two top selling laptops, the Aspire and the Veriton. Both laptops are very popular with consumers due to their affordable pricing and high quality. Acer has also recently added the Aspire X 15 to their lineup. This laptop offers the latest Intel processors and a stunning Full HD display. It is also designed to be a lightweight and compact laptop. This laptop is ideal for students and professionals who are on the go.

During my testing, the Acer Aspire 1 did well with non-intensive tasks, such as email and word processing. However, it struggled when I tried to open multiple tabs and switched between programs. There were some noticeable lags and it took some time for the web page to load back up after closing the tab. I would expect these issues to be much worse with a more expensive model.
Although the Acer Aspire 1 has a decent display, it is not as bright as other laptops I have tested. The screen has an FHD resolution with a matte finish. It has 67% sRGB and 50% Adobe RGB color coverage. This is not good enough for most content creators, but it is an acceptable level for a budget laptop.
The Acer Aspire 1 has a variety of ports to connect external devices and accessories. It has 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, 1 HDMI port with HDCP support, and 1 RJ-45 Ethernet port for wired internet connectivity. It also has a headphone/speaker jack and a microphone jack. The laptop also has an SD card reader to expand storage.
