Apple MacBook Pro 15.4-Inch Retina Laptop Quad i7 2.5GHz / 16GB DDR3 Memory / 1TB is the best choice for you to work, play, and create anything on your Mac. It’s slim, portable enough to take on the go yet powerful enough for everyday tasks. The Retina display is crystal clear and sharp, perfect for displaying your favorite photos or work projects. The keyboard is comfortable and responsive, making it easy to type quickly. Its fast SSD storage keeps your files close at hand, so you can edit videos or work with complex spreadsheets without waiting.
This model of the MacBook Pro includes a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, which makes it faster than previous models. It also has a high-performance Nvidia GeForce GT 750M graphics card with 2GB of video RAM. The combination gives this MacBook Pro the power to run demanding applications, like video editing and high-resolution photo editing. And it can play the latest PC games with reduced frame rates compared to other laptops with more powerful GPUs.
The keyboard and trackpad remain unchanged from last year, which is great news for those who liked them. The new Force Touch trackpad uses haptic feedback to give you the feeling of clicks when using multitouch gestures. It’s a great addition to the MacBook Pro, and you’ll find similar technologies in some Windows laptops, including the Dell XPS 15 we tested recently.
We love the redesigned MagSafe power port, which is now thinner and less conspicuous. Its magnetic connector is easier to remove and doesn’t block the USB ports when plugged in. It’s also the first MagSafe to support USB 3.1 Gen 2, which adds a faster, more reliable connection and supports Thunderbolt 3 devices.
In our battery tests, this MacBook Pro lasted almost seven hours, streaming HD video over wifi and using the built-in speaker for audio playback. It ran wirelessly for almost five hours, browsing 25 popular websites and using the keyboard and trackpad for basic tasks for about four hours. That’s excellent endurance for a laptop, and we expect most users will get far more time out of this machine than that.
